Against My Nature…

OK, so I’m generally not big on New Year’s Resolutions.  I don’t think I’ve really ever given them much thought. It seems most folks come up with some lofty ideas that never really pan out…  But I was reading Larry W2LJ’s 2012 resolutions and thought I might come up with a short list myself.  Instead of ‘resolutions’, I’ll call them my ham goals for 2012.

  • QRP DXCC
  • Ditch the paper log for a digital one
  • More portable/outdoor operation
  • Organize my (corner of the basement) shack
  • Get comfortable with & operate more digital modes
  • Build & experiment with more antenna designs
  • First SOTA activation
  • First Satellite Contact

We’ll see how I make out…
